Niya Ancient Ruins

Minfeng Tomb of the Eastern Han Dynasty¡¡It is in grave region of Niya ruins; was a tomb of a couple in Eastern Han period. Coffin is a wooden trunk which was made with poplar wood, and has four short wood legs, filled with jarrah branches outside coffin, coated yellow mud. grave owner has changed into dry body, wore bright and beautiful gown, design is very luxuriant, knitted "everything turns out as wished"? "prolonged life", etc Chinese characters, clothes has characteristic of Han Dynasty. Funerary objects have "high-rank official" copper mirror? wooden comb? pottery? wooden cups? wooden bowls and bow? arrows, etc. Two pieces of blue wax-printed cotton cloth are the earliest fabrics found thus far in China.

Meirlike Desert

¡¡Lies in 22 kilometers northwest in Hotan city, is the southeast in the second desert in the world Taklimakan Desert. sand dune rise and fall here, like vast sea immensity, stretched to the horizon, scenery is very grand. Below the south of the sand dune, is Meirlike reservoir whose scenery is beautiful, there are fishermen which are casting net and fishing, tourists can go boating in the blue water. There are regular fields and tree belt near the reservoir, is a oasis in desert scenery.

Zanmu Temple¡¡

Located mountainside which is over 80 meters high of east side of Moyu river in Layika countryside in Hetian county, is 36 kilometers far away Hetian city. Zanmu temple is a double layers rock cave, need putting up a ladder from lower layer to top layer. It is recorded that, the temple was found by Faxian master which is passing here in 401 A.D, and was called as "Zanmu Temple" by him and write it in book, here scenery is very beautiful.

The Yuetgan Ruins¡¡

About 10 kilometers west of Hotan County seat, area is about 10-square-kilometer. Culture layer was covered up below the 3-6 meters thick's Hongji layer, only found pottery? animal bones? gold ornaments? jade articles, etc. pottery's texture is fine, decorated animal's faces? human faces and feature of human mostly, sculpts are very beautiful. Also found some coins from the Tang Dynasty, according to textual research, belonged to important ruins ancient Yutian State of 3-8 century A.D, some people thought it is the site of the capital of ancient Yutian State.
