Alo named Taqil Valley, it is an important pass
which connect Sayram Lake and YIli River Valley.It
is about 28Km in length. In 1218, when the Chengiskhan
¡®s troops were marching westward, he ordered his
second son Chahetai Khan lead his troops to buil
the road . In ancient time, this valley was of high
stragetic importance ,and it was named "iron pass".
Nowadays, the 312 national road passes by this area.The
valley got its name because there are so many wild
fruit trees in the valley.
